This symbol boasts an interwoven design and a name that comes from the Irish word ‘Doire’ which means oak tree. ĭue to this form of magic being ice-based, it is highly compatible with Ice-Make to deal far more effective damage in battle. Another of the better-known Celtic symbols is the Dara Celtic Knot. Users have also been shown to freely control the ice empowered by this Magic, able to direct the element in mid-air to attack their desired target. Unlike other Slayer Magics, this Magic allows its user to obtain a basic analysis of a Demon's bodily composition based on sight alone. The Slayer's freezing ability is notable when Gray received Devil Slayer Magic, he became able to freeze the wind in twisters created by a Demon easily. Additionally, breaking the gem as an action releases the elemental, as if you had cast the spell Conjure Elemental. At the base of the hilt lies a gem which turns the sword’s damage type to that of the respective elemental. Additionally, the user is able to somewhat control the ice of others and is able to just as easily freeze a large scape of land with a mere flick of their wrist. Inspired by the Elemental Gem item, this sword harnesses the power of an elemental. Like other Slayers, the user is able to consume external sources of ice, even ones formed from nothing, in order to replenish their strength and enhance their power, as well as having a tremendous resistance to the element of ice. The first known user, Silver Fullbuster, seems to be very proficient with it, as he was able to single-handedly freeze the entire Sun Village, its inhabitants, and the Eternal Flame which held the remaining spirit of the Fire Dragon Atlas Flame. This Devil Slayer Magic allows the user to produce the element of ice for various purposes.
